Problem using Rsync

I use rsync to make backups to my nas-server. I can't persuade the firewall to allow the connection.

The logfile entry is:
Package denied: Eingehendes Paket von 192.168.1.3:51424 nach 192.168.1.2:873, Protokoll: TCP, Größe/Code: 48

Although I made a rule to allow this connection and the relating port
evertime the firewall denies the connection again.
It depends on the firewall. When I disable the firewall all works fine.
What can be the reason ?

Hello Andreas,

I guess you are talking about the securepoint personal firewall (installed on your pc).
The personal firewall is not supported anymore (since 3-4 years)...

If you are talking about the securepoint 2007nx-appliance/software - please provide us with more information:
- firewall internal/external ip
- client ip
- and so on
