SSL VPN Client Bug? - strange behaviour on import ovpn confi
Verfasst: Mi 16.07.2014, 10:40
Hello all,
I'm not sure if this is a bug of Securepoint SSL VPN client...
but I exprienced a strange behaviour of the client,
and I'd like to share it.
Said in a few words: when importing a ovpn config file, the configuration of the remote site gets lost.
More precisely said, I've imported an ovpn config, provided by a Watchgurad Firebox.
The import seems to work, the original config file is correctly displayed in the "Quickedit" view.
But, first sign that something may be wrong, is that in the "Edit" view the data for the remote site is not displayed.
Now, if I change something in the "Edit" mode - e.g. entering a proxy - the original config file
is changed, and written to the disk.
Now without the remote site parameters, and consequently does not work anymore.
It's obvious that the original config file was changed by Securepoint client, as some comments wore added.
Any hints or experiences on that?
Best regards,
soenke2
