How can solved R3 TraceRoute Problem???

However it no longer seems to work in the latest build of R3.
Even if i specify explicit inbound rules for the returning ICMP messages it still doesn't work, however it may be my configuration has an error so do try this post.

Hi,

maybe I have a solution for you.


- Add another Service -> Group (tracert2)
- Doubleclick the Service "ICMP" and rename to icmp-related (this will duplicate the service)
- Drag "icmp-related into your new group
- Add a new rule Internet -> Internal_Network -> tracert2
- Update rule

Works fine!

This worked for us!
We did not need this additional inbound icmp rule before build 5651!

Before the returning ICMP packets were allowed in as they were part of an established/related session. However now we have to define an explicit and permanent 'allow inbound pings' rule which is not so desirable.

Wir haben nicht brauchen diese zusätzlichen eingehenden ICMP-Regel vor 5651 bauen!

Vor der Rückkehr ICMP-Pakete durften sie sich als Teil einer etablierten / verwandte Sitzung. Aber jetzt müssen wir definieren eine eindeutige und permanente 'Pings erlauben Inbound "-Regel ist das nicht so wünschenswert.
