Securepoint Firewall Patch 1 and Patch 2 are available.

Please Note: It is very IMPORTANT to REBOOT the system after installing
each patch!

When you use the Security Manager Build 26 you can install the patches
over the GUI.

When you use an older version you should do the update directly over the
CLI. The command to download and install the patches is "update firewall".
After "update firewall" type "reboot" to restart the server. This has to
be done twice because of the two patches.

The patches are fixing the following problems:

- POP3 Proxy crashed with several mails.
- POP3 Proxy had problems to filter some file extensionens.
- The dates of the Virusupdates corrected.

Why is a manually reboot needed ?
Updates of the "old" 2006nx made this without user interaction.

This is no "fun"-question...because I want to be sure, necessary Updates are run in the right way, without compromising the Update-Database.

btw...at the current state the patches and updated Manager are running great and in my opinion the managers perfomance is enhanced....

you are right. i think we will change the patch managment in sm to be sure that
the patch will installed correctly. thanks for your suggestion!
